UIW’s Technology Division is responsible for the delivery of all technology and related services to the University’s students, faculty, and other employees.  We also provide assistance and support to Incarnate Word High School and St Anthony’s Catholic High School.

Infrastructure Support provides network computing and telephone services to enable all of us to meet our goals as an innovative learning community.  To do this, Infrastructure Support works collaboratively with other members of the campus community to provide technological leadership which emphasizes empowerment of the individual through the use of technology.

Technology Support Services manages the computer labs on campus, and provides classroom-level technical support services as well.  UIW’s laptop purchase program is administered through Technical Support Services, and this team supports and services all computers on campus through the UIW Help Desk.

Instructional Technology provides faculty and staff with the technology services that promote teaching and learning success.  This team operates the Media Services Center in the Mabee Library; provides important technology training to faculty, staff, and students alike; and ensures audiovisual services throughout the campus are available when and how they are needed.

Information Management Services plans, creates, and manages relational database environment  that enables members of the university community to use information resources effectively, productively, and securely.

Institutional Research supports informed decision-making by senior UIW leaders through the collection, analysis, and reporting of data regarding students, faculty, and other employees.  Institutional Research manages our Institutional profile Book, our Common Data Set, and our various state and federal reports.
